Our Story

Lowcountry Handyman Team was built on the idea that a home should always feel safe, comfortable and cared for. Roger, a longtime Sun City resident, has spent more than 50 years serving families in the moving and storage business, helping thousands of people in their homes. Mark, his son, grew up learning those same skills by working alongside his dad and later put them to use as both a business owner and a teacher.

When Mark moved to South Carolina to be closer to his father, they saw a need in their community—especially among 55+ homeowners—for trustworthy, dependable handyman services. Together, they decided to combine their strengths and form Lowcountry Handyman Team, LLC: two generations working side-by-side to make life easier for their neighbors.

Roger
Roger has spent his entire career working directly with customers, first as an owner-operator in the moving and storage business and now as a trusted handyman. He’s known for his promptness, creativity, and ability to solve tough problems around the house. As a Sun City resident himself, Roger understands the needs of his neighbors and takes pride in helping them feel safe and comfortable in their homes.

 Mark

With a background as both a business owner and an elementary school teacher, Mark brings patience, clear communication, and a passion for helping others. He enjoys tackling home projects that others may not have the time, skills or ability to complete. Inspired by watching his grandmother live to 101 and the daily challenges she faced, Mark is dedicated to providing dependable support for older homeowners who want to enjoy their homes without stress.
